VHV invests via a pre-IPO club deal in Neuralink
In mid-May 2026, VAN HAL Ventures (VHV), alongside a group of 16 global entrepreneurs and investors, participated in a pre-IPO investment in Neuralink through an SPV club deal. The transaction was successfully completed at the end of July 2026.
Founded by Elon Musk and a team of scientists and engineers, Neuralink is developing high-bandwidth brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) designed to establish a direct connection between the human brain and computers. Its technology combines advanced neuroscience, robotics, AI, and highly sophisticated implantable hardware.
Since its founding, Neuralink has attracted backing from some of the world’s most prominent technology investors and entrepreneurs, including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund and Sam Altman, alongside leading venture capital firms.
With Neuralink, we are investing in one of the most ambitious frontiers of technology: the convergence of human intelligence and artificial intelligence.
Following our investments in OpenAI, Anduril Industries, and Erebor Bank, this investment further reflects our conviction in backing transformative technologies with the potential to fundamentally shape the future.
