HYRAYSE builds momentum in Düsseldorf’s outdoor fitness market
VAN HAL Ventures portfolio company HYRAYSE has recorded strong growth since summer 2025, combining rising member engagement with an expanded training offer and growing demand from beyond Düsseldorf.

Since summer 2025, the Düsseldorf-based outdoor gym operator has increased its active memberships sevenfold. Over the same period, the number of workouts has doubled, check-ins have tripled and the coaching team has grown by 50%.
The growth is not confined to Düsseldorf. People living outside the city now account for 20% of new registrations, with customers increasingly travelling between 20 and 40 kilometres to train at HYRAYSE. The company already serves active members from locations including Jena and Rheinbrohl.
A broader fitness and performance platform
HYRAYSE has supported this momentum by expanding both its facilities and programming. Its offer now includes the HYROX Performance Hub, regular HYROX classes, the new BIKERAYSE format and an Open Gym equipped with professional fitness equipment.
Five major events have already taken place in 2026, helping HYRAYSE strengthen its community and create additional points of engagement beyond regular training sessions.
Partnerships with Urban Sports Club, Wellhub, Wellpass, Hansefit and Sportnavi are also widening access to the concept and introducing it to new customer groups.
